In addition to new Facebook Page Gigi have also recently joined Twitter. Her account is: @GigiEdgley

I know, there is no "verified" badge, but Twitter is a bit slow with handing those out. This is a legit account though.

Back in February of 2011 I have reported that Gigi finally joined Facebook and was friending fans left and right. Today Ms. Edgley dropped me a note that she shut down her rather popular account, and will now be using a Facebook Page instead. You know, like all celebrities do. Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to go and like that page:

No, seriously go and like her. Only 664 likes as of this posting - we can do better than that.

Gigi did not comment as to reason for this change but I'm sure you can guess at why she might have chosen to do that. Facebook pages offer increased privacy and allow you to separate your private and professional life. This way the updates from your fans do not flood your feed, and you don't have worry about pictures posted by friends with the "Friends of Friends" permissions will suddenly become available to thousands of people.
