There is a decent Quantum Apocalypse review at Dr. Gore's Funhouse. They didn't give the movie high marks, but it appears not to be as bad as predicted:

Certainly not a masterpiece and not even essential viewing, Quantum Apocalypse is still watchable viewing if taken as a TV movie.

Unfortunately, the review doesn't even mention our favorite lady. I will try to get my hands on this film and write a proper review shortly.

Gigi's new movie Quantum Apocalypse has been recently released by RHItv as an "On-Demand World Premiere". What that means is that RHI's affiliate cable networks such as Comcast, COX, Cablevision and Time Warner Cable  can now offer it via their On Demand / Payperview services. If you live in US and you subscribe to one of these cable networks, you may be able to watch it today.

Allegedly the movie is $3.99 but I was unable to confirm this yet because the Comcast On Demand interface is a mess and it is virtually impossible to find anything there. If you find it, let me know where it is hiding.

I also heard the film is very, very bad. Like "Showdown at Area 51"  caliber of badness. Still, if you are a Gigi fan you will probably watch it anyway. She looks really cute in the trailers and I guess we owe it to her to sit through this thing. Not everything she stars in can be critically acclaimed Last Train to Freo. We have to make due with what we have.

Some more details and a trailer here.

From the official website:

Little Empire Productions have been working on the artwork for the EP I recorded with Chad Michael Smith in Hollywood. We wanted to invite the fans to give us a hand. Now I am working in Australia I can't wander around and get a cool shot to put on the cover.
We decided to run a competition to see who can get the best shot of an old school theater in LA. Due to copy write laws you must either have taken the image yourself or received direct permission from the photographer. Please supply the photographers name so we can credit them.
The title of the EP is 'L.A Charm'.
The winner will receive a signed copy of the new EP prior to it's release. I'll also give the grand champion a copy of my last EP, a Blue Shift comic book and three autographed pictures as well.
The competition closes on the 20th of January so get jiggy with it!!!

Nobody Knows is Almost Done and There May Be Webisodes PDF Print E-mail

This might be old news by now but I'm going to post it anyway. According to reports from the Creation Con in LA (the Farscape/Stargate joint affair that happened on Nov 6) the following seems to be true:

  1. Gigi's project Nobody Knows is almost, almost done. According to Gigi who directed and produced it, they are only missing two visual effect shots before they can go into post production, editing and all that good stuff. So despite lack of news and her involvement with Resuce Special Ops it appears that she is still actively working on it. Though with her current schedule, it is probably reasonable to expect delays.
  2. Fabled Farscape Webisodes may still see the light of day. It seems that Brian Henson is on board, and so is most of the old Farscape cast. SyFy wants to do them as well, but the only thing they are missing is funding. If they can find a sponsor, it's on. If not... Well, they'll keep looking until they find one.

Thanks to whedonopolis.com for cluing me in on these minor details.
