According to the press release on her Facebook page Gigi will be joining the cast of a new steampunk series titled Lantern City. And let me tell you, this series looks pretty amazing:

It seems that the creators are very in touch with the steampunk maker community and are seeking fan driven input and contributions. Here is the video appeal to the community made by the creator:
All of this looks incredibly promising. I'm really looking forward to seeing Gigi in it.

Tricky Business might be getting the axe. Gigi herself confirmed this on her Facebook page - the show likely won't be getting renewed for another season. Apparently the ratings are not up to Chanel Nine's expectation. That said the show was aired against fairly stiff competition. It's a shame to see yet another good show go down like this.
The fans of the series set up an online petition in an effort to save it from oblivion. You can sign it here:
Will it help? Probably not, but it doesn't hurt. As usual, more direct approach may have better effect. Call the station, write a snail mail letter and let them know you are disappointed.
Note: there seems to be some regional block going on, as I can't possibly get it to work in any browser under any operating system here in US. If you are down under, you should have no problems though.
